Russian assault groups try to pave way for street fighting in Avdiivka
Maksym Morozov, major of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and a fighter with the Freedom Legion, notes that Russian troops are trying to enter the private sector of Avdiivka in small groups
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
"Artillery duels are taking place in the area of Avdiivka. The enemy is shelling our positions and we are responding. The positional struggle for better positions continues. Artillery and mortar groups are working on both sides. Enemy assault groups are operating in the area of Avdiivka, trying to pave the way for street fighting," explained Morozov.
According to the soldier, Russian troops are trying to enter Avdiivka's private sector in small groups.
"The enemy is trying to advance from Kamianka. Their tactics are clear, they are exchanging the lives of their soldiers for meters of land. Russians are trying to enter Avdiivka's private sector in small groups. Ukrainian defense forces are destroying the enemy and taking them prisoner. Now the enemy is regrouping and trying to advance from the old part of Avdiivka," added Morozov.
