Russian army will be defeated in Ukraine - military expert Svitan
According to Roman Svitan, a military expert, reserve colonel with the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and military pilot-instructor, the Russian army is currently under attack by Ukrainian troops and will face defeat and destruction
He shared his opinions on Espreso TV’s Verdict with Serhiy Rudenko.
"The Russians have abandoned any plans for Ukraine. The military leadership of the Russian army now acknowledges their complete defeat in this war. Their current objective is to minimize losses and safely withdraw from Ukraine while preserving their army. This is challenging, as Russia’s entire combat-ready army is currently stationed within Ukraine's territory. They are unable to address the situation in Belgorod by deploying untrained soldiers there. And they cannot withdraw their combat units from the frontlines in Ukraine," Svitan noted.
According to the military expert, the Russian army is under attack by Ukrainian troops and will face defeat and destruction.
"Russia's military leadership has no idea how to withdraw from Ukraine without the order of the political leadership. And the Russian army is being held hostage, it is forced to die on the territory of Ukraine. And the Russian military has no idea what to do with Crimea. Defending Crimea is a challenge that they are unable to overcome. Russia is already taking measures to relocate the Russian Black Sea Fleet. The occupiers are beginning to gradually withdraw from Crimea," Svitan emphasized.
