Russian army shells residential areas of Avdiivka with Grad MLRS
On the afternoon of January 25, Russian troops have opened fire on Avdiivka, Donetsk region, damaging multi-storey buildings and starting a fire
Pavlo Kyrylenko, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, shared the information on Telegram.
"Another shelling of Avdiivka - numerous high-rise buildings were damaged," the head writes.
This afternoon, Russian forces struck again at residential areas of Avdiivka.
The enemy fired at the peaceful town from Grad MLRS.
"Avdiivka has remained our outpost in the Donetsk direction for 9 years now, and since the beginning of the full-scale invasion it has been under non-stop fire," emphasized Kyrylenko.
The town suffers from shelling nearly every day and has been almost completely destroyed. Kyrylenko calls on Ukrainians to evacuate from the dangerous region.
"This is one of the hottest spots on the frontline. All civilians who are not involved in the operation of critical infrastructure should leave the town," added the official.
