Russian army shells Kherson again - wounding four people

On Sunday, 2 July, Russian troops attacked a residential neighbourhood in Kherson. Four residents were injured as a result of the shelling
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
"The Russian army has once again fired on a residential area of Kherson. A pharmacy and a catering establishment came under enemy fire," the statement said.
It is noted that as a result of the shelling, a 50-year-old man sustained leg injuries. The Regional Military Administration reported that an ambulance was called for him.
Russian occupiers also shelled a high-rise building in Kherson.
"Two civilians were wounded in the shelling of a high-rise building. They were hospitalised," the Kherson Regional Military Administration reported.
Later, on the Espreso TV channel, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration's press office, Oleksandr Tolokonnikov, shared the details of what happened.
"A 22-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman were wounded as a result of the hit to the apartment block. The son and mother were in the apartment. The mother was seriously injured, the son was less seriously injured," Tolokonnikov said.
"In another district a pharmacy and a catering facility were hit. A 73-year-old man sustained light injuries. A 46-year-old man was heavily wounded and taken to hospital in a serious condition," added the CMA representative.
Over the past day, on 1 July, Russian troops struck nine regions of Ukraine, resulting in 13 people being wounded and 1 person killed. In particular, a 9-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy were injured as a result of a shelling of a house in Kherson. Also, a 72-year-old woman was seriously injured and hospitalised as the result of Russian shelling of the regional centre.
