Russian army strikes fire station in Kharkiv region

Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko announced this.
"Kharkiv region. Today the fire department of the region is 200 years old. Russia "congratulated" in its own style. At night, the Russian forces launched a missile attack on the building of the fire station in the city of Izium," the statement reads.
It is noted that as a result, 8 employees were injured, 4 of them are in the hospital. The building itself and 13 units of equipment were also damaged as a result of the attack.

Later, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, confirmed the information about the shelling of the fire station in Izium. He said that the Russians probably launched the attack with S-300 air defense systems.
The Prosecutor General's Office reported that, according to the investigation, on October 26 at around 23:30, the Russian military shelled the city of Izyum with two Iskander missiles, damaging the building of the Fire and Rescue Unit of the State Emergency Service and a number of residential buildings.
