Russian army shells 9 regions of Ukraine over one day: 4 people dead and 7 injured
Over the past day, on June 26, the Russian army struck 9 regions of Ukraine. Four people were killed and seven were injured
This was reported by the regional military administrations.
Chernihiv region: The Russian army fired mortars at the Novhorod-Siversky district during the day. Fortunately, there were no casualties or damage reported.
Sumy region: The Russians conducted two mortar attacks on the Esman and Seredyna-Buda communities during the night and morning. Thankfully, there were no civilian casualties or damage to infrastructure. On June 26, there were five border strikes targeting 4 communities, but no significant consequences were reported.
Zaporizhzhia region: The enemy carried out 43 attacks on 15 settlements, including Olhivske and Charivne, which were hit three times with anti-aircraft guns, and 11 settlements were targeted with artillery strikes. These attacks caused damage to 37 residential buildings, communication systems, and property belonging to residents. A local woman died in Orikhiv during the shelling, and her husband was injured and taken to the hospital. Another resident of Preobrazhenka and a woman near Pavlivka were also hospitalized due to injuries sustained in the attacks.
Dnipropetrovsk region: During the night, the aggressor used heavy artillery to attack the Marganets community in the Nikopol region, but there were no casualties. Nikopol was also hit with heavy artillery, resulting in a direct hit on an industrial facility. Unfortunately, a 51-year-old woman who worked as a crane operator and a 50-year-old handyman at the enterprise lost their lives, and a 49-year-old man was injured and is currently in the hospital in moderate condition.
Kharkiv region: In the Slobozhanskyi and Kupiansk directions, the enemy carried out mortar and artillery attacks on over 25 settlements in the Bohodukhiv, Kharkiv, Chuhuyiv, and Kupiansk districts. There is currently no information available regarding victims or damage caused by the attacks.
Luhansk region: The Russians focused their efforts on attacks in Stelmakhivka, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces were able to stop all their attempts. The Russian army also targeted Bilohorivka with artillery. A total of 107 shellings were reported in the region during the day.
Donetsk region: Russian troops conducted 10 shellings in the region, targeting 5 settlements. These attacks resulted in damage to 17 objects, including residential buildings, a garage, a civilian car, a water supply system, and a road surface. One person was killed, and another was injured in the region.
Mykolaiv region: Enemy shelling was recorded in the water area of the Ochakiv community on the morning of June 26 and 27. The city of Ochakiv was also attacked, but there were no casualties reported. Artillery strikes were carried out on the Kutsurubs community in an open area, but again, no casualties were reported.
Kherson region: The enemy launched 55 attacks throughout the day, with 4 of them targeting the city of Kherson. The occupiers aimed their attacks at 21 settlements in the region, causing damage to the cultural center in Mykhailivka village, the music school in Bilozerka village, and the sewage station in Kherson. As a result of the Russian aggression, two people were injured.

On June 27, Natalia Humeniuk, OC South spokeswoman, stated that following the extensive attacks on Ukraine's territory, the Russian army has paused its actions temporarily to strategize and prepare for further heavy bombardment.
