Russian army in Ukraine operates like ISIS in Iraq, Syria – international journalist

"There are wars which you cannot help but participate in. You need to decide whether you will defend what is important to you with weapons in your hands, or you if you will simply not participate in it. In my previous wars in Syria, Iraq and the Gaza Strip, I had the opportunity to not participate. Now I don’t have that opportunity. I am defending my country and what is most important to me", Matsarsky explained.

Matsarsky said that Russians actions in Ukraine are no different from ISIS actions in Syria and Iraq.

"The Russians in Ukraine act the same way as ISIS does in Syria and Iraq. Ukraine is now at war with a terrorist entity. This terrorist organization wants to intimidate the civilian population of Ukraine as much as possible. The Russian army uses precision-guided missiles not to destroy military installations, but to destroy schools, hospitals, and civilian infrastructure. They act in Ukraine like real terrorists", Matsarsky said.
