Russian army focuses on offensive in 5 directions, regrouping in certain areas, - the General Staff

This was reported by AFU's General Staff in a morning report on February 7.

It is noted that the enemy continues to regroup in certain areas. They are focusing their main efforts on offensive operations in the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Vuhledar directions.

Ukrainian Armed Forces hit areas of Russian concentration and repel attacks in 10 settlements

Over the past day, on February 6, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled the attacks of the occupiers in the areas of Novoselivske, Kreminna and Dibrova settlements of the Luhansk region and Verkhnyokamianske, Vesele, Zaliznyanske, Krasna Hora, Bakhmut, Ivanivske and Paraskoviivka of the Donetsk region.

During the day, the aviation of the Defense Forces carried out 9 strikes on the areas of concentration of Russian personnel and military equipment and 2 strikes on the positions of anti-aircraft missile systems. 

Missile and artillery units struck 8 areas of enemy manpower concentration.

Russian forces arrange military hospital in boarding school 

The invaders continue to suffer losses.

Under the guise of civilians, Russians set up another military hospital in the Kherson region.

Thus, servicemen of the Russian armed forces were placed on the first floor of the Kairy psychoneurological boarding house, and civilian patients were moved to other floors.

Medical equipment was seized and transported by the occupiers from the district hospital of Velyka Lepetykha settlement.

Russia launches 6 missile and 24 air strikes on Ukraine during the day

On February 6, the enemy launched 6 missiles and 24 air strikes. The Russians carried out 75 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems, in particular, at civilian objects in Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipro and Kherson regions, causing civilian casualties.

The threat of further Russian air and missile strikes throughout Ukraine remains high.

The invaders do not stop shelling Ukrainian settlements with various weapons

No enemy offensive groups were detected in the Northern border areas and Northeastern Ukrainian border.

At the same time, the areas of Popivka and Oleksandrivka in the Sumy region and 6 settlements of the Kharkiv region were shelled.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy shelled with tanks, mortars, and artillery the areas of 4 settlements in Kharkiv region, 2 in Luhansk region.

In the Lyman direction, Terny in the Donetsk region and 4 settlements in the Luhansk region were affected by fire.

In the Bakhmut direction, 8 settlements came under enemy fire.

8 settlements were damaged by fire in the Avdiivka direction.

In the direction of Vuhledar, enemy shelling was recorded in Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, and Neskuchne of the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia region, the areas of 23 settlements were shelled, in particular, 6 of them in Zaporizhzha, and Velykomykhailivka of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Areas of 19 settlements were hit by mortar and artillery fire in the Kherson direction. Among them are Hola Prystan, Zolota Balka, Kachkarivka, Mylove, Antonivka and Kherson.

• Earlier, the General Staff reported that during the hostilities near Bakhmut, there was a complete lack of coordination and interaction between the Russian occupation forces and Wagner PMC mercenaries.
