Russian army destroys gymnasium in Zaporizhzhia with air strikes
On April 3, Russian forces carried out air strikes on a gymnasium in Orikhiv, Zaporizhzhia region. As a result of the enemy attack, the debris of the building caught fire over an area of 100 square meters.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service on Facebook.
"On April 3, the enemy carried out an air strike on one of the settlements of the Polohy district. As a result, two buildings of the educational institution were damaged and the thermal transition between the buildings was destroyed, followed by a fire on a total area of 100 square meters," the statement reads.
The enemy struck again, completely destroying the two-story building of the gymnasium.
There were no casualties or injuries. Representatives of the State Emergency Service who arrived at the scene promptly extinguished the fire and dismantled the structures and individual elements. A total of 30 rescuers and 6 pieces of equipment were involved in the aftermath of the strike.
- Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov said that the occupiers have started building three new defense lines in the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia region.
- On the night of March 30-31, Russian troops opened fire on civilians in Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the shelling, a private house caught fire and an infrastructure facility was damaged.
