Russian army carries out 13 air strikes and fires 13 times from multiple rocket launchers – General Staff

This is stated in the evening report of the General Staff.

Apartment residential buildings, private houses, schools, hospitals, kindergartens and other civil infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

Ukrainian Armed Forces launched 4 strikes on areas of enemy personnel concentration, and destroyed 2 ammunition depots over the day

Ukrainian aviation conducted 4 strikes on enemy personnel concentration areas over the past day.

In turn, missile and artillery units hit a command post, 2 areas of concentration of weapons and military equipment, 2 ammunition depots and 1 fuel and lubricant depot.

Ukraine’s defense forces repelled more than 30 enemy attacks in 4 of the hottest areas

The enemy continued to focus its main efforts on offensives in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions – more than 30 enemy attacks were repelled during the day. Bakhmut and Marinka remain at the epicenter of hostilities.

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the situation hasn't changed significantly, and no enemy offensive groups have been detected.

The enemy continues to maintain a certain number of troops in the border areas with Ukraine.

During the day, the Russian forces launched an airstrike using guided bombs on the village of Lizunivka, Chernihiv region, killing a child. In addition, Russian artillery shelled 4 settlements in Chernihiv region; 6 settlements  in Sumy region, as well as 4 settlements in Kharkiv region.

The situation in other areas is as follows:

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy did not conduct any offensive actions. Seven settlements in the Kharkiv region, including Kupiansk itself, came under artillery and mortar fire. 

In the Lyman direction, the enemy tried to improve the tactical situation and had unsuccessful offensives in the areas of Novoselivske and Bilohorivka. They launched an air strike on the settlements of Bilohorivka, Hryhorivka as well as 4 other settlements in Luhansk region, Verkhniokamianske and Spirne in Donetsk region also came under enemy artillery fire.

The Russian forces are attacking in the Bakhmut direction. Fighting continues in the city of Bakhmut. The Russian troops also had unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of Predtechine. They conducted an air strike on Bakhmut and Bila Hora. 9 settlements in Donetsk region were affected by enemy shelling.

In the Avdiivka direction, the Russian army attacked in the area of Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region, but was unsuccessful. They also launched an airstrike on Avdiivka and fired at 3 settlements in the Donetsk region.

In the Marinka direction, the Russian enemy continues to attack the positions of Ukraine’s defense forces. Fighting for Marinka continues. Heorhiivka, Donetsk region, also came under enemy fire.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the Russian troops did not have any offensive actions over the last day. They fired at Vuhledar, Bohoyavlenka and Novoukrainka in the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy is on the defensive. During the day, the enemy fired at 3 settlements in Donetsk region; 6 other settlements in Zaporizhzhia region; as well as 11 localities and the city of Kherson were shelled by Russian forces.
