On Saturday, October 14, the invading Russian army attacked the town of Beryslav, Kherson region, killing a woman
Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin reported this.
According to him, the Russian troops shelled the town with artillery around 4:30 p.m, hitting the residential buildings.
"At that time, a 42-year-old woman was on the balcony of her apartment. She died on the spot from her injuries," informed Prokudin.
The Prosecutor General's Office noted that the woman received shrapnel wounds that caused her death. Information about the other victims is currently being clarified.
A pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) has been initiated.
