Russian army attacks 9 regions of Ukraine at night: 7 dead, 6 wounded. Situation in regions

Information about the consequences of the attacks was released by the regional military administrations.

Chernihiv region: Russian troops fired 4 times during the day with mortars and artillery at the territory of the Novhorod-Siverskyi district.

Sumy region: Russian forces launched 3 mortar attacks during the night and in the morning. They targeted Znob-Novhorodske, Yunakivka, Seredyna-Buda communities.

During the day, on June 28, Russian troops fired 7 times at the border. Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Miropillia, Yunakivka communities came under shelling. 

Zaporizhzhia region: at night, Russian forces attacked the outskirts of Zaporizhzhia city with missiles, aviation and twice with MLRS, and also carried out 67 artillery shellings on 17 settlements.

A 62-year-old woman was injured during the artillery shelling of Orikhiv. As of 9:00 am, there have been 51 reports of residential buildings, outbuildings, and an educational institution being destroyed in the area.

Dnipropetrovsk region: Russian invading forces struck twice the Nikopol district over the last day. They hit Nikopol and Myrove communities with heavy artillery. 

Late in the evening, the Russian army attacked the Chervonohryhorivka community of the Nikopol district with heavy artillery. 

Kharkiv region: last night Russian troops attacked Chuhuiv with S-300 missiles. Residential buildings and cars were damaged. 

Yesterday, Russian troops fired at Kurylivka village, Kupyansk district, with Uragan MLRS. The shelling resulted in damage to private households, and a 70-year-old woman, who was in her own yard during the attack, sustained serious injuries. Additionally, 3 men, aged 45, 48, and 57, lost their lives due to the shelling of Vovchanski Khutory village.

In the southeastern direction, Russian troops launched an air strike near Ruska Lozova, Kharkiv district. They shelled 10 settlements with mortars and artillery. In the Kupyansk direction, over 20 settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

Luhansk region: yesterday, Russian forces launched attacks on Nevske, Makiivka, and Novovodiane. Residential buildings sustained damage. Russian troops launched a total of 123 attacks, firing 544 shells within the last day.

Donetsk region: Russian troops shelled 12 settlements over the last day, resulting in damage to 8 residential buildings, including 2 apartment buildings, as well as power lines and a bank building. Over the last day, 4 people died in the Donetsk region as a result of shelling, and 2 more were injured.

Mykolaiv region: during the day, Russian troops targeted the Ochakiv community’s aquatorium with artillery fire. Additionally, enemy attacks were reported on the settlement of the Kutsurub community, primarily hitting open territory.

Kherson region: Russian forces launched 64 attacks on the region over the last day, including 3 on Kherson. They struck 23 settlements in the region.

Also, a combine harvester hit a Russian mine while performing field work. Two men, aged 41 and 36, were injured as a result of the explosion.
