Russian armed guards at checkpoints make evacuation from Mariupol impossible - Mariupol mayoral adviser 

Mariupol Mayor Adviser Petro Andryushchenko shared the update citing his sources in the city.

"Kadyrovtsy (Russian soldiers loyal to Chechen strongman Ramzan Kadyrov - Ed.) and Russian guards replace collaborators and 'DPR people's militia' representatives," he said.

Russians set more roadblocks on dirt roads, which people used to bypass filtration control.

Any evacuation from Mariupol to Zaporizhzhya is impossible until opening separate 'green' corridors.

"In fact, from today, any evacuation from the city becomes impossible until opening separate corridors as a result of negotiations with the Russian leadership," said Andryushchenko.
