According to detailed information from Ukraine's Ministry of Defense, this morning Russia used 84 cruise missiles and 24 drones, including 13 Iranian Shahid-136 ones. The Ukrainian military destroyed 56 enemy targets — 43 cruise missiles and 13 drones (including 10 of the kamikaze type).

Earlier, the Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine's Armed Forces, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, reported that on the morning of October 10, 75 missiles were fired over Ukraine.

"The Russian Federation, a terrorist country, carries out massive missile and air strikes on the territory of Ukraine, uses attack UAVs. In the morning, the aggressor launched 75 missiles. 41 of them were neutralized by our air defense. The Armed Forces are doing everything possible to protect fellow citizens. However, the enemy attack continues.  I call on everyone to stay in shelters," Zaluzhnyi wrote.

Later, Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Malyar added that today between 06:20 and 11:15 the Russian Federation launched missile and air-missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine from the Caspian Sea and Nizhny Novgorod regions in the cities of Kyiv, Lviv, Pryluky, Khmelnytskyi, Dnipro , Nizhyn, Zhytomyr, Kharkiv. In addition, the enemy carried out airstrikes using 17 "Shahid" UAVs from the territory of Belarus and the occupied Crimea.

She specified that, according to the General Staff, as of 11:34 a.m., 83 rockets had previously been launched, 43 were shot down by anti-aircraft missiles.

  • On October 10, Russia shelled Kyiv, there were casualties. There were also arrivals in the Dnipro, Lviv and Poltava regions. In Ternopil Oblast and Khmelnytskyi Oblast, air defense systems were activated.
