Russian activity decreases over past two days
Colonel Oleksiy Dmytrashkivskyi, spokesman of the joint press center of the Tavria Defense Forces, said that overnight, enemy assault actions were observed in the Donetsk sector
He said this during the Espreso TV channel broadcast.
"Over the past two days, the enemy activity has decreased, since the enemy has suffered serious personnel losses and equipment damage. The group has just returned from the Donetsk direction, where they worked in units. Our defenders are brave; they are not going to retreat," Dmytrashkivskyi noted.
He also added that during the night the enemy shelled the Donetsk direction 125 times, Zaporizhia direction – 18 times.
"In the Donetsk direction, Russian assault actions were observed. At night, the enemy tried to attack the Marinka area in 10-15 soldier groups, but the attack was repelled and they retreated. The enemy is also targeting the Vuhledar area, but with more forces," said Dmytrashkivskyi.

Ukrainian soldiers hit Russian control posts and personnel positions. The Armed Forces of Ukraine also repelled Russian attacks in the areas of 19 settlements.

The Institute for the Study of War predicts that the pace of Russian forces along the Svatove - Kreminna line in the Luhansk region has increased, but it is still weak and may end in the AFU counteroffensive.
