Russia will try to disrupt the grain agreement and blame it on Ukraine - analyst
The executive director of the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation, Petro Burkovskiy, believes that Russia will not comply with the technical issues in the agreement on Ukrainian grain transportation.
He expressed his opinion on the air of the Espreso TV channel.
"The export of grain from Ukrainian ports and the implementation of the agreement will depend on how quickly the routes will be approved. These routes must be approved by all parties. It is also necessary to approve the composition of the joint coordination center and inspection groups that will inspect all vessels. These are all technical issues, but they must be resolved," Burkovskyi explained
The analyst is convinced that Russia will delay the resolution of technical issues of the agreement.
"I believe that Russia will delay the resolution of technical issues in order to disrupt the agreement and shift the responsibility for it to Ukraine. Such risks regarding the grain agreement will exist in us in the coming 30 days," he added.
