This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, reports Reuters.
In particular, he said that President Vladimir Putin gave the order to suspend hostilities during the first round of talks between Russia and Ukraine, but the position has now changed.
"After we were convinced that the Ukrainians did not plan to reciprocate, it was decided that during the next rounds of negotiations there would be no pause (in hostilities - ed.) until a final agreement is reached", Lavrov said.
