Russia wages offensive battle near Soledar, Bakhmut, Kodema, actively engages drones to adjust fire in Kharkiv region - General Staff

In the Kharkiv direction, Russia shelled objects in the areas of Kharkiv, Sosnivka, Dementiivka, Slatine, Borshcheva, Peremoha, Ruski Tyshki, Rubizhne, Lebyazhe, Mospanove, Husarivka settlements with barrel and jet artillery. Russian forces continued to actively use drones to conduct aerial reconnaissance and adjust artillery fire.

In the Slovyansk direction, Russia conducted combat operations with the aim of holding previously occupied lines and preventing the advance of units of the Defense Forces. Russian forces continued to carry out fire damage from tanks, barrel artillery and MLRS near Nortsivka, Dmytrivka, Dolyna, Mazanivka and Bogorodichny.

In the Donetsk direction, Russia does not stop trying to conduct assault and offensive actions. Continues to focus efforts on the Bakhmut and Avdiyivka areas.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Russian forces shelled the positions of our troops and civilian infrastructure from artillery systems near Ivano-Daryivka, Serebryanka, Tetyanivka, Hryhorivka, Zvanivka, and Rozdolivka.

In the Bakhmut direction, the districts of Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Vesela Dolyna, Mayorsk, Zaytsevo, Soledar, Bilogorivka and Yakovlivka were damaged by fire.  Near Soledar, Bakhmut and Kodema, the enemy waged an offensive battle, without success.

In the Avdiyivka direction, shelling from tanks, barrel and rocket artillery was recorded near Nevelsky, Vodyanyi, Netaylovy, Krasnohorivko, Novobakhmutivka, Nyu York, Zalizny and Opytny.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Russian units have continued to fire at the territories near Pavlivka, Novomykhailivka, Prechistivka, Vugledar, Volodymyrivka, and Velika Novosilka from tanks and artillery of various types.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russia shelled the areas of the settlements of Velikomykhailivka, Gulyaipilske, Malynyvka, Biloghirya, Dorozhnianka, Charivne, Orihiv, Mala Tokmachka, Shevchenko, Vremivka, Shcherbaki, Novosilka, Poltavka, and Novopil.

The situation has not undergone significant changes in the Volyn, Polissya, and Siversk directions. Russia shelled civilian infrastructure near the villages of Shalygine, Shevchenkive, and Katerynivka of the Sumy region from barrel artillery.
