Russia uses ‘suicide squads’ near Bakhmut, Terra unit commander says
Mykola Volokhov, commander of the Terra aerial reconnaissance unit, 3rd separate assault brigade, noted that the Russians use ‘suicide squads’ in the Bakhmut direction
He stated this on Espreso.
“The Russians use ‘suicide squads’. They're prisoners, and the Russians don't care whether they live or die. They treat them like cannon fodder. They don’t evacuate them and don’t send reinforcements," Volokhov said.
He also said that the Ukrainian defenders are destroying the enemy standing in the way of victory.
"We've seen different types of Russian soldiers coming at us - Wagner soldiers, Kadyrov soldiers, marines, special forces landing from helicopters - all of it. But we shouldn't fear them. Bullets and artillery shells don’t care who they are. It doesn't matter who the Russians send into battle; it won't change how we act. We'll keep doing what we need to do. If they stand in our way, we defeat them," Volokhov emphasized.
