Russia uses ex US Defense Secretary Douglas McGregor as an info-terror tool –  Center for Countering Disinformation

The Center for Combating Disinformation (CCD) at Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council analysed this move in Telegram.

"This Western-oriented ‘expert’ is spreading narratives about the imminent defeat of Kyiv, 'Russia’s invincible army’ and is threatening the world that Putin could use nuclear weapons," the statement said.

The CCD notes that on April 22, McGregor appeared on Fox News, predicting that further arms supplies to Ukraine would allegedly lead to escalation by Russia. He suggested that Ukraine should give Russia Crimea and Donbas so that Putin doesn’t have to "strike a nuclear strike."

On April 25, in an interview with Spanish newspaper El Mundo, McGregor stressed that the supply of weapons to Ukraine was a waste of resources, as "Kyiv is doomed."

"The same former adviser to the US Secretary of Defense predicted that Russia would destroy Ukraine by mid-March 2022," the CCD statement added.
