Russia uses Crimea-based missile system to fire on Odesa airport, runway damaged
On April 30, Russian forces launched a missile strike on Odesa region from temporarily occupied Crimea, disabling a runway in Odesa airport, taking it out of operation.

This is stated in Telegram channel Odesa.Officially.
"As a result of this missile attack on Odesa region, a runway at Odesa airport has been damaged. Its further use is not possible," the statement said.
Odesa City Council reminded citizens that sharing information about ongoing hostilities is sensitive and should be coordinated with military command.
Later, the head of Odesa regional military administration Maxim Marchenko said on Telegram that occupiers fired on Odesa from occupied Crimea using the Bastion coastal missile system. No one was injured in the attack.
Anti-sabotage measures are being taken in Odesa region to ensure security during the extended curfew.
