Russia unable to hold Zaporizhzhia front for long – military expert Svitan
Military expert Roman Svitan believes that the Russian occupying forces will not be able to hold their positions in the Zaporizhzhia direction for a long time under pressure from the Ukrainian Armed Forces
He shared his opinions with Espreso TV.
"There are two processes going on in Russia right now. The first is related to Prigozhin's mutiny, and all the generals who were involved in these events are trying to get their people into the vertical of the Russian Defense Ministry. Now the entire line of support for Surovikin is simply crumbling," Svitan explained.
The expert believes that Russia will not be able to hold its positions in southern Ukraine for long
"Another very interesting process taking place in Russia, which has already entered the information field, is taking place in the Zaporizhzhia direction. In particular, based on the tasks on the battlefield, the Russians will not be able to hold the front on the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions for long. These two fronts will be the first to fall. Realizing this, the Russian General Staff is not sending enough ammunition and equipment to these areas. In this way, they are trying to reduce the amount of trophy equipment for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Therefore, it turns out that the Russian generals who command the troops in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions are at a disadvantage in combat. All these events cause dissatisfaction of these generals," he added.
