This is reported by Ukrainian Pravda, Ukrinform, and RBC-Ukraine, citing their own sources.

Ukrainian special services hit at least three power substations and a fuel storage base. The target was the energy infrastructure that feeds the Russian military-industrial complex. After the attacks, some areas of Russia experienced problems with electricity and water supply.

"The SBU drones have once again proved their effectiveness and demonstrated results - they have successfully worked on the infrastructure that ensures the smooth operation of military facilities in Russia," the sources said.

Instead, the Russian Defense Ministry reported the destruction of 50 drones.

"50 Ukrainian UAVs were destroyed and intercepted by regular air defense systems, including 26 over the territory of the Belgorod region; 10 over the territory of the Bryansk region; 8 over the territory of the Kursk region; 2 over the Tula region; and 1 over the territories of the Smolensk, Ryazan, Kaluga, and Moscow regions," the statement says.

The governor of the Kaluga region, Vladislav Shapsha, said that the energy infrastructure in the Maloyaroslavets district was "slightly damaged" as a result of a UAV explosion near a power substation.

He added that there were no casualties.

Also, after the UAV attack, a substation in Vygonychi, Bryansk region, caught fire. According to local residents who shared videos on social media, 5-6 explosions were heard before the fire, and air defense systems were operating in the air, Baza reports. According to preliminary data, the substation was attacked by several UAVs.

The governor of the region, Alexander Bogomaz, said that six drones were shot down over the Vygonichsky district of Bryansk region. The crash of one of the drones started a fire at an energy infrastructure facility, with no casualties.

The governor also informed that an airplane-type UAV was destroyed over the territory of Suzemsky district. There were no casualties or damage.

On Saturday night, Ukrainian drones attacked a fuel and energy facility in the Smolensk region, Governor Vasily Anokhin reported on his Telegram channel.

According to his statement, the air defense system shot down the drones, but “as a result of the falling debris, a container with fuel and lubricants caught fire.”

Air defense was operating in the Tula, Belgorod, and Kursk regions, and there was a threat of a UAV attack in the Lipetsk region.

The governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, also reported a drone attack. According to him, the drones allegedly dropped ammunition, killing two people.

  • On April 19, Russia announced that it had shot down 25 air targets over the Belgorod region.
  • The day before, the Russian Defense Ministry accused Ukraine of attacking three regions of the Russian Federation. They allegedly destroyed 46 air targets there.
