
Zelenskyy meets with U.S. senators in Washington
On Friday, February 28, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with a bipartisan delegation of the U.S. Senate during a visit to Washington, D.C.
Zelenskyy announced this on social media.
According to him, the main topics of the talks were the continuation of military assistance to Ukraine and relevant legislative initiatives, efforts to achieve a just and lasting peace, a vision of ending the war, and the importance of reliable security guarantees.
“We take pride in having strategic partners and friends like the United States. We are grateful for the unwavering bicameral and bipartisan support for Ukraine throughout all three years of Russia’s full-scale aggression,” Zelenskyy added.
The meeting was also attended by the head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak.
"We have great strategic partners and friends. The United States of America represents strength and leadership. Thank you for your ongoing bicameral and bipartisan support for Ukraine," Yermak wrote.
