
Zelenskyy, First Lady inaugurate Ukraine's new Embassy building in Ankara
On Tuesday, February 18, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, together with First Lady Olena Zelenska, inaugurated the new building of the Ukrainian Embassy in Ankara
Zelenskyy announced this on social media.
"The project was approved back in 2019, and the embassy walls were built as the cooperation between our countries grew. It is very symbolic that the new embassy essentially reflects a new level of our strategic partnership," the president wrote.
He added that he met with representatives of the Ukrainian community in Turkey at the embassy.
On the evening of Monday, February 17, Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that he had arrived in Turkey with First Lady Olena Zelenska for a meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
It was noted that during the visit, Zelenskyy planned to meet with Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his wife, Emine Erdoğan.
"The issue of exchanges: all efforts will continue to bring our people back home. The issue of food security. The First Lady's educational and cultural diplomacy," the president wrote.
