
"Your help is an opportunity for us to fight for our democracy": Ukrainian F-16 pilot Karaya thanks American people
Ukrainian F-16 fighter pilot Karaya expressed his gratitude to the American people for helping Ukraine effectively defend its cities from Russian attacks
Pilot Vadym Voroshylov, call sign Karaya, shared this message on Instagram.
"Dear American people, my combat brothers, who defend Ukraine on the F-16 aircraft, convey the words of gratitude for the opportunity to effectively protect Ukrainian cities from Russian terror, to protect the people of Ukraine," he wrote.
According to Karaya, U.S. support gives Ukraine the strength to fight for its democracy.
"Your help is an opportunity for us to fight for our democracy. Thank you very much for your support. Together to victory!!!" he added.
Reference: Karaya (Vadym Voroshylov) is a Ukrainian fighter jet pilot who, on October 12, 2022, shot down five Iranian drones — three in southern Ukraine and two over the Vinnytsia region. He was forced to eject over the Vinnytsia region after steering his aircraft away from a populated area.
He runs a YouTube channel where he shares videos of his flights.
