Where Russia will attack in near future: Ukrainian colonel suggests
Ukrainian Armed Forces Colonel Vladyslav Selezniov believes that in the coming weeks, Russians will intensify their activity in the Kupyansk-Lyman area and in the southern Zaporizhzhia region
He said this on Espreso TV.
"Russia will try to transform their numbers and logistical superiority into gains on the battlefield. Currently, the enemy's activity is concentrated in two areas - the direction of Chasiv Yar and the direction west of Avdiivka. In the coming weeks, the Russians will intensify their actions in the Kupyansk-Lyman direction and in the south of Zaporizhzhia region to draw away some of our resources," suggested Selezniov.
According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces colonel, there is no reason to assume that the Russian troops will go on the offensive to occupy Kharkiv. Russia physically does not have the resources to realize this mission.
"Russia is looking for opportunities to plunge Ukrainians living in the border regions not only into blackout, but also to leave them without communication. Most likely, the Russian enemy will actively use subversive reconnaissance groups to operate in the Ukrainian border area. That is, on the territory of Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions," added Selezniov.
