West vs. Russia: taming ogre won't work

I don't see any other option for the future.

It's impossible to "tame," "domesticate," or "re-educate" this ogre; as long as it exists, it will continue to devour.

First, it will devour its closest neighbors. But once it has had its fill, it will have plenty of reasons to impose its will on the West - particularly the EU.

The real problem is that both Western voters and even Western elites are dangerously far from grasping this reality.
