The situation in Avdiivka remains extremely difficult, Russian forces launch assaults and use dozens of guided aerial bombs a day
The press service of the 3rd Detached Assault Brigade, one of the strongest in Ukraine, has officially confirmed the urgent redeployment to reinforce the units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces holding Avdiivka, where the situation is extremely critical for Ukrainian troops today. Approximately 7 Russian brigades are attacking in this area, two of which have been disabled, according to Defense Express.
According to the 3rd Brigade, separate battalions of the brigade conducted a raid into Russian-held areas of Avdiivka. "Our soldiers are demonstrating unprecedented heroism. We are forced to fight 360 degrees against new brigades that the enemy is creating," said Andriy Biletsky, the brigade commander.
The situation in the city remains threatening and unstable as of today, with the Russian occupation forces rotating and deploying new forces and equipment to the city.
"Changes in the operational situation will be reported by the brigade's official resources," the 3rd Brigade informs.
It is also worth noting that Russian forces are constantly dropping guided aerial bombs in Avdiivka, using dozens of them every day, the video shows almost 40 bombs.
As for the situation in Avdiivka, as of the evening of 14 February, Deep State researchers noted the advance of the Russian occupation forces in the north and south of the city and the Russian troops' plans to cut off the Avdiivka Coke Plant as much as possible and reach the 9th quarter. Russia is concentrating assault groups where it is successful and amassing manpower in buildings in the city under its control.
