Ukrainian Special Forces destroy Russian equipment on Tendra Spit
Special Forces of the Artan unit and the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine's Naval Center conducted a special operation on the temporarily occupied Tendra Spit.

The Special Forces carried out a special operation on the night of August 6. The airborne group landed on the Tendra Spit and destroyed Russian armored vehicles, including MT-LB, an electronic warfare system, and destroyed Russian fortifications.
"During the battle, the Russian invaders suffered losses among their personnel - the exact number is being clarified," the intelligence reports.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian military reconnaissance men, having fulfilled their task, including the secret part of it, withdrew without losses.
For reference. Tendra Spit is a long, narrow island spit in the northern part of the Black Sea, off the coast of Kherson region.
Russia reports UAV attack on 4 regions, high-rise allegedly damaged in Voronezh
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported air defense operations in four regions. In Voronezh, debris reportedly struck a high-rise building.

According to the ministry, Russian air defense forces destroyed or intercepted 11 drones over four regions: three UAVs over the Belgorod, four over the Kursk, two in the Voronezh, and two over the Rostov region.
Meanwhile, Alexandr Gusev, governor of Voronezh, stated that a drone damaged the facade of the upper floors of a residential building during its fall. Another UAV's wreckage landed on an avenue.
Preliminary reports indicate no injuries.

Defense Express CEO and military expert Serhiy Zgurets stated on Espreso TV that the penetration into the territory of the Kursk region is about 7 kilometers.
"There are hostilities in the area of Suzha. Four settlements are controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Russian military officials claim that Ukrainian troops are on Russian territory in the amount of a battalion. A certain number of reserves are kept on the territory of Ukraine. The enemy claims that the Ukrainian side uses a significant number of drones and skillfully employs air defense and electronic warfare systems," emphasized Zgurets.
Ukraine destroys Russian Mi-28's with FPV drone first time in history
A video showing a Russian Mi-28 helicopter being taken down by an FPV drone has leaked online, marking a historic first.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, Hromadske, and Babel, citing their own sources.
The downing happened on August 6 over Russia's Kursk region. Drone launched by Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) hit the rear rotor of the Russian helicopter.
"The SBU has once again demonstrated a high professional level, creative approach and novelty of solutions used to destroy the enemy. We have many more unexpected surprises for the Russians," the source said.
Volunteer and blogger Serhii Sternenko was the first to share the information.
Sternenko reprimanded the original poster of the video, but since the video had already been leaked, he provided a high-resolution version of the strike.
He explained that the downing of the Russian Mi-28 was achieved using an FPV drone donated by Ukrainians.
Sternenko also mentioned that the Ukrainian fighters had "some plans that are now in danger due to the leak," as it jeopardizes the operators' safety.
Later, the volunteer clarified that the Russian helicopter was shot down by soldiers of the M2 unit of the SBU Special Operations Center. However, there is no information on the fate of the Mi-28.

Ukrainian athletes Zhan Beleniuk and Parviz Nasibov have advanced to the semifinals in Greco-Roman wrestling at the 2024 Olympics.
