Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy Russian Alligator helicopter

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported the information.

"On February 7, in the operational area of the Tavria group forces, soldiers of one of the mechanized units destroyed a Russian Ka-52 attack helicopter. The enemy ‘Alligator’ with its crew was hit by a man-portable air defense system and fertilized the soil in the Avdiivka direction. Denmark to provide Ukraine with 3,000 hearing aids for military

Danish Minister of the Interior and Health Sophie Løhde has announced the supply of 3,000 hearing aids to Ukraine for Ukrainian soldiers who lost their hearing in the war.

The press service of the Ministry of Health reported the information.

During a working visit to Kyiv, Løhde signed a declaration of intent with Ukrainian Health Minister Viktor Lyashko to strengthen cooperation in the health sector, in particular in such areas as improving access to health care, including primary health care, with a special focus on mental health, regulating the circulation of medicines and medical devices, and combating antimicrobial resistance.

"The signed declaration of intent provides for the exchange of experience between medical experts, cooperation with non-governmental organizations, including academic institutions, charitable organizations and civil society institutions, training, seminars and workshops, participation in conferences, etc.," the department's press service said.

DIU announces successful cyberattack on Russian drone control programs

"Cyber specialists of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine have carried out another successful operation against the Russian occupiers - as of February 8, 2024, the enemy complains of a massive failure of the drone control program," the statement said.

The Russian military install this program to reflash DJI drones to meet the needs of combat operations. However, due to the attack, all servers stopped working, so all software is recognized as "foreign" and denies access.

"Without access to the servers, and therefore to the system, it is likely impossible to control the drones from the consoles. Now the enemy is trying to solve the problem in every possible way, including by switching to manual control mode," the intelligence service said.

The Italian Parliament approves decision to extend military assistance to Ukraine in 2024

The House of Deputies of the Italian Parliament has approved the government's decision to extend military assistance to Ukraine in 2024.

This decision was supported by 218 out of 400 members of the lower house of parliament.

"Once again, Italy has chosen to be on the side of the freedom of nations and respect for international law, with the aim of reaching, in line with the position taken by NATO and EU allies, a just and lasting peace," Defense Minister Guido Crosetto said after the approval of the relevant decree.

The report states that Ukraine will receive assistance from Italy in accordance with the country's international obligations to the EU and NATO.

Ukrainian aviation strikes 7 Russian personnel concentrations 

According to the Ukrainian General Staff, during the day, Ukrainian aviation struck 7 concentrations of Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment. Ukrainian missile troops struck 2 Russian ammunition depots and 2 artillery pieces.
