Ukrainian UAVs attack Russian warehouses with guided bombs at Borisoglebsk military airfield
On October 3, Ukraine's Security Service and Defense Forces' drones struck guided bombs warehouses, Su-35, Su-34 parking, and aviation fuel storage at Borisoglebsk airfield in Voronezh, Russia
Hromadske, RBC-Ukraine, and Ukrinform reported this, citing their own sources in the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU).
It has been reported that Russian forces are actively launching attacks on Ukrainian regions from the Borisoglebsk airfield.
In response, drones from Ukraine's Security Service (SBU), the SSU, and other defense forces targeted warehouses storing combat stations, parking areas for SU-35 and SU-34 aircraft, and locations where aviation fuel is kept.
"The SBU continues to take active measures to diminish Russia's capacity to terrorize peaceful Ukrainian cities using fighter jets equipped with combat aircraft. The demilitarization of Russian military airfields will persist, as the Russians should not feel safe even on their own territory," the source stated.
Russia's response
“Last night, an attempt by the Kyiv regime to launch a terrorist attack using aircraft-type UAVs against targets in the Russian Federation was prevented,” the Russian Defense Ministry reports.
The Russian air defense allegedly destroyed and intercepted 113 Ukrainian UAVs, including 73 drones over the Belgorod territory, 25 over the Voronezh territory, 14 over the Kursk territory, and one over the territory of the Bryansk region.
- On the evening of Wednesday, October 2, Russian troops launched attack Shahed UAVs at Ukraine. They also attacked Kharkiv with guided bombs.
