He shared his opinions with Espreso TV.

"We are trying to reach Russian facilities that work for their military-industrial complex. The SBU conducted a successful operation on the Baikal-Amur railway 6 thousand kilometers away from Ukraine, when trains were blown up in the tunnel and then on the bypass routes. The very fact that we are able to reach this distance shows that the Russians did not believe that we have an agent network. People who are ready to help Ukraine in its struggle on the territory of Russia, having received a task," Yahun said.

According to the SBU reserve major general, acts of sabotage are occasionally observed in Russia, and these incidents are even showcased on television within Russia.

"This indicates the inability of the FSB to ensure a counterintelligence regime on the territory of a country at war. Unlike in Ukraine, where the only breaking news is related to shelling. We try to intercept the enemy's intelligence work on our territory in advance. In Ukraine, there are no emergencies at factories, railways or logistics routes. This shows the quality work of our special services in the rear," Yahun added.

  • On January 11, the Security Service of Ukraine served a notice of suspicion to a resident of Novohrodivka who was reconnoitering the deployment and movement of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Donetsk region. To do this, she traveled up to 100 kilometers every day.
  • The Security Service served a notice of suspicion to the former head of a department of the Donetsk regional customs office. The man was guiding Russian missiles near Vuhledar.
  • Hackers from the Blackjack group, allegedly affiliated with the Security Service of Ukraine, hacked into the servers of the Russian state-owned Main Military Construction Directorate for Special Objects, which builds military facilities throughout Russia.
