Ukrainian forces strike Russia's oil depot in Voronezh region
On the night of January 28, Ukraine's Defense Forces struck a number of military and logistical targets in the temporarily occupied territories and in Russia, including hitting the Khokholska oil depot in the Voronezh region
The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported the information.
Following the strike on the Khokholska oil depot, ignition of petroleum products has been confirmed.
"The ignition of petroleum products has been confirmed - thick smoke is observed. Results are being clarified," the General Staff noted.
Additionally, in the temporarily occupied areas of the Donetsk region, concentrations of enemy personnel and a drone control point in the area of Velyka Novosilka were hit. Strikes were also delivered against Russian troop concentration areas in the regions of Shakhove and Hryhorivka.
Other targets included an enemy ammunition depot in the area of Nyzhnya Duvanka in the temporarily occupied Luhansk region, enemy personnel concentrations in the area of the settlement of Huliaipole in the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region, as well as a battalion command post in the area of Berezove in the temporarily occupied territory of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
A hit was also recorded on enemy personnel concentrations in the settlement of Kolotylivka in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation. Russian military losses are being clarified.
Separately, the General Staff provided details on the consequences of the recent strike on the Tamanneftegaz oil terminal in Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation - a fire covering approximately 6,200 m² has been confirmed, along with damage to three reservoirs (10,000 m³).
"Ukraine's Defense Forces will continue to systematically carry out measures aimed at weakening offensive capabilities and reducing the military-economic potential of the enemy in order to compel the Russian Federation to cease its armed aggression against Ukraine," the General Staff concluded.
