Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries. Multi-storey and private houses, as well as other infrastructure facilities, were destroyed and damaged.

Frontline situation

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the situation hasn't changed significantly, and no enemy offensive groups have been detected. Certain units of the Belarusian Armed Forces are performing tasks in the areas bordering Ukraine.

At the same time, the Russian army continued shelling the entire borderline with mortars and artillery: over 20 settlements across the Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions were attacked.

In the Kupyansk sector, Russia did not conduct offensive (assault) actions. However, about 15 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Lyman sector, Russia did not conduct offensive (assault) actions. More than 10 localities suffered from artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Bakhmut sector, Ukrainian troops repelled 24 attacks near Bilohorivka, Luhansk region; Verkhniokamianske, Spirne, Vyimka, Rozdolivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Donetsk region, where the Russian army, with the support of aviation, tried to improve the tactical situation. More than 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Avdiivka sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 16 attacks near Novokalynove, Novobakhmutivka, Berdychi, Pervomaiske, and Netaylove in the Donetsk region, where the Russian army tried to force Ukrainian units out of their positions. About 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Novopavlivka sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding back the Russians in the areas of Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka, Kostiantynivka, and Vodiane in the Donetsk region, where the invading army tried to break through the defense 19 times. More than 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Orikhiv sector, the Russian forces, with the support of aviation, attacked the Ukrainian positions 3 times near Staromaiorske, Donetsk region. About 20 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Kherson sector, Russia doesn't abandon its intention to push Ukrainian units from the footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River. More than 15 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire.

Ukrainian strikes against Russian military positions

Over the day, Ukrainian aviation struck 12 Russian military positions and 4 anti-aircraft missile systems. The Ukrainian Air Defense Forces also destroyed one Kh-59 guided missile.
