“The Ukrainian Defense Forces have regained control of Novyi Komar,” the statement said.
Meanwhile, the invading Russian army occupied the village of Blahodatne, Donetsk region.
Russian troops have also advanced in Kostiantynopolske, Sukhi Yaly, Stari Terny, Novopustyntsi, and Yelyzavetivka in the Pokrovsk district of the Donetsk region, as well as in Chasiv Yar in the Bakhmut district.
Additionally, Russian forces are advancing near Pushkine and Shevchenko in the Pokrovsk district, as well as near Zoria in the Kramatorsk district of the Donetsk region.
Vladyslav Selezniov, a military expert and colonel in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as a former spokesman for Ukraine's General Staff, noted that Russian troops have created a northern vice of operational encirclement targeting the Ukrainian grouping near the village of Velyka Novosilka.
