Ukrainian forces execute operations in Kherson region from right bank, block Russia’s advances towards Dnipro — official
Kherson Regional Council member Serhiy Khlan noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are performing tasks on the left bank of the Dnipro River
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
"We can say that Krynky no longer exists as a settlement, only the name remains. The occupiers boast that they control Krynky. Although, as we can see, the occupiers' control of Krynky ends with accurate drone strikes precisely because of the occupiers' attempts to bring equipment or personnel closer to the Dnipro bank. But the Ukrainian Armed Forces are performing tasks on the left bank. It is inappropriate to talk about bridgeheads at this point, but the tasks are being accomplished. And this is a headache for the occupiers," Khlan noted.
The Kherson Regional Council member also added that geographically the right bank is higher than the left, and this helps Ukrainian figures who are carrying out operations on the left bank to cover them with artillery and drones from the right bank.
"All the occupiers' attempts to fully control the riverbank from the left bank near Krynky, Antonivske and the railway bridge are failing. That is why it is a sensitive issue for the occupiers, like a cancerous tumor with which they cannot deal," emphasized Khlan.
