Ukrainian drones strike Russian oil depot in Yaroslavl region
On the morning of December 31, long-range drones from the Ukrainian Security Service's Special Operations Center Alpha struck the Temp oil depot located in the city of Rybinsk, Yaroslavl region, Russian Federation
Sources within the Ukrainian Security Service informed Espreso about this.
This oil depot is part of the Russian reserve system and is designed for storing large volumes of fuel.
After the SBU drones hit their targets, a massive fire broke out at the facility.
The city of Rybinsk is a major transit and logistics hub, and the Temp oil depot itself is an important link in the storage and distribution of petroleum products in the northeastern region of the Russian Federation.
"The SBU continues with surgical precision to cut the supply chains of Russian petroleum products both abroad and to the troops attacking Ukraine. This systematic work will continue in 2026," an informed source in the SBU reported.
On the night of December 28, Ukrainian Defense Forces units struck the Syzran oil refinery in the Samara region of Russia.
