Ukrainian Defense Forces down second Russian Su-25 in Donetsk region this month

The destruction of this aircraft marks the second such incident this month for the anti-aircraft units of the Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Lieutenant General Marko Bezruchko.
“Thanks to the accuracy and professionalism of our anti-aircraft gunners, today Russian aviation has lost one more combat aircraft - a Su-25 attack aircraft. 'Pokrovsk Triangle' for Russian aviation,” the statement reads.
The 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Major General Marko Bezruchko reported that two Russian pilots flew dangerously close to the positions of Ukrainian defenders.
A Russian Su-25 lost contact with the Ukrainian military in the "Pokrovsk triangle," an area notorious for Russian aircraft crashes. Two Russian pilots recklessly flew near Ukrainian positions, resulting in one being promptly "punished for his audacity."
