On January 5, the Ukrainian Defence Forces targeted two Russian UAV control points and a Murom-P video surveillance system on Dnipro's left bank in the Kherson region

This was reported by the Southern Defence Forces.
Ukrainian defenders destroyed 10 Russian soldiers, a Grad multiple rocket launcher, a mortar, and a boat.
Russia's losses :
- 2 Supercam UAVs
- 1 Murom-P video surveillance system
- 1 communication repeater
- 5 units of armoured vehicles
In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces targeted 3 Russian observation posts and 2 drone control points.
- In total, 62 combat engagements took place at the front over the past day. The Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled Russian attacks in six directions and killed 800 soldiers.
