Ukrainian cyberattacks disable websites, internet banking of two Russian banks – media
On September 23, cyber specialists from the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine carried out hacker attacks on Rosselkhozbank and Moscow Credit Bank PJSC
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing its own sources in the special services.
According to reports, the websites of these banks are currently disrupted, their mobile applications are not functioning, and access to internet banking services is unavailable.
It is also noted that the banks' technical services are currently unable to estimate when stable operation of their services will be restored.
“These actions do not have a specific expiration date. The financial system of the Russian Federation will be targeted until the last occupier leaves the territory of Ukraine. The Russians must understand that every financial institution is a legitimate target for our Security and Defense Forces, as they all play a role in financing the occupying army,” the Ukrainian intelligence service emphasized.
- At the end of July, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine also attacked Russia’s Central Bank, which supports Russian aggression against Ukraine.
