Our soldiers are fighting in the urban area of Chasiv Yar, which is a rather difficult situation for combat operations. However, it is too presumptuous of the Russians to claim that the dominant heights in this area have been taken,” emphasized Polukhin.

The spokesperson added that the Russians are constantly probing various directions.

"Throughout the defense of Chasiv Yar, Russian occupiers have been attempting to break through the Ukrainian Defense Forces' positions from different sides. They exploit opportunities where possible, and, of course, are stalled where it's impossible. This could be the northern, western, southern, or central part of the city," Polukhin noted.
