He said this on Espreso TV.
"The Russians' advantage is that we will have to leave Selydove. The question is when to do it, as fighting in the city is unprofitable. The ratio of casualties is usually one to one, which is unacceptable for us," noted Zgurets.
According to the director of Defense Express, an information and consulting company, the Ukrainian Defense Forces need to be aware of the risks of flanking attacks on the Ukrainian supply line.
"Now there is only one line that works under fire. I believe that the military should assess the risks and take into account the experience of Vuhledar in order not to make decisions at the last moment under the pressure of enemy artillery," emphasized Zgurets.
- On October 22, it was reported that the Russians were maximally active and throwing more and more reserves into the battle to enter Kurakhove, Donetsk region, as soon as possible.
