Ukrainian army targets 336 Russian soldiers and 258 UAVs in Tavria sector

This was reported by the Joint Press Centre of the Tavria Defence Forces. 

It is stated that Russian enemy carried out 22 air strikes, one missile strike, while 53 combat engagements and 1,157 artillery shellings took place in the operational area of the Tavria operational and strategic grouping of troops over the day.  

In the Avdiivka sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 24 Russian attacks nearBerdychi, Orlivka, Tonenke, Pervomaiske and Nevelske. In the Novopavlivka sector, Ukrainian defenders are holding back the Russian enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Pobeda, Novomykhailivka and Urozhayne in the Donetsk region. Russian troops tried to break through the Ukrainian defenses there 29 times. 

"Total enemy losses in manpower amounted to 336 people. The enemy's total losses in weapons and military equipment over the last day amounted to 38 units, excluding UAVs. In particular, 4 tanks, 12 armored personnel carriers, 6 artillery systems, 1 anti-tank missile system, 10 vehicles, 4 air defense systems and 1 unit of special equipment. Ukraine's defense forces destroyed 3 ammunition depots and 2 other important enemy targets. 258 UAVs of various types were neutralized or destroyed," the statement said. 

• 82 combat engagements took place in the frontline over the last day. Ukrainian defenders repelled a number of Russian attacks, most of them in the Avdiivka and Novopavlivka sectors, and neutrlized another 960 Russian soldiers.
