"In the Donetsk region, units of the Ukrainian Defence Forces shot down an enemy Su-25," they said.
The Command also assured that the situation along the entire front line is controlled by the Ukrainian Defence Forces. In particular, Ukrainian soldiers are inflicting losses on Russian troops, restoring positions and achieving tactical success in some areas.
As of 5:00 p.m., fighting continues in the Kharkiv direction, with the number of combat clashes increasing to 12.
"Our troops struck the enemy, pushed them back and are carrying out clearing operations on the northern outskirts of Vovchansk. A firefight broke out near the village of Starytsia," the statement said.
The number of combat clashes increased to 7 in the Lyman direction, 14 in the Siverskyi direction, 31 in the Kramatorsk direction and 31 in the Pokrovsk direction.
The situation in the Toretsk, Kupyansk, Kurakhove, Vremivka, Huliaipole, Orikhiv and Prydniprovsk directions remains unchanged, controlled by Ukrainian troops.
All attempts by Russian forces to advance are met with fierce resistance from Ukrainian defenders, the General Staff stressed.
