202 clashes occur at front over last day - Ukraine's General Staff

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this in its summary as of 8:00 a.m.

According to the updated information, Russia launched two missile attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, using three missiles, and also launched 64 air strikes, including 91 guided bombs. In addition, it carried out more than three and a half thousand attacks, 78 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems, and used more than 1,400 kamikaze drones.

“Over the past day, aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces conducted three strikes on the areas of Russian personnel and weapons concentration, in addition, three cannons at firing positions and another important object of the occupiers were destroyed,” the General Staff added.
 

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv direction, the Russian army conducted four offensives in the area of Vovchansk. 
 

The number of combat clashes in the Kupyansk direction reached 23 over the last day. The Ukrainian Defense forces repelled Russia' attacks near 8 populated areas. 

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian troops stopped 14 hostile attacks. The Russian invaders concentrated their main efforts in the area of 5 settlements. 
 

Ukrainian troops stopped three Russia's attempts to advance near Chasiv Yar, Predtechyne and Stupochky in the Kramatorsk direction. The situation is under control. The Russian troops acted with the support of aviation - they attacked with KABs near Nykyforivka. 

With the support of bombers, the occupation troops attacked seven times in the areas of Toretsk and Deliivka in the Toretsk direction. 

Thirty-five attacks were repelled by Ukrainian troops in the Pokrovsk direction over the last day. Russia tried to advance near 4 localities.

Defense forces continue to hold back the Russian enemy in the Kurakhove direction, who tried to break through Ukrainian defenses 55 times. 
 

Ten Russian attacks were stopped by Ukrainian defenders in the area of Novoukrainka and Bohoyavlenka in the Vremivka direction. 
 

In the Orikhiv direction, the occupation forces stormed the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces once near Novodanylivka. 

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Russia made six futile attempts to seize the positions of Ukrainian defenders over the past day. 

The operational situation on the border with Belarus remained unchanged. No signs of the formation of Russian offensive groups were detected. 

On the border with the Chernihiv region, Russia maintains a military presence, conducts reconnaissance activities and artillery shelling. 
 

“Ukraine's defense forces continue to conduct operations in the Kursk sector, where the enemy launched 36 air strikes using 54 guided missiles over the past day; in addition, the Russians fired over 200 times,” the General Staff added.

• The Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated 1,380 Russian soldiers, 8 tanks, and 19 armored vehicles over the last day.
