Ukrainian aircraft strikes at Russian command post, 100 clashes occur at frontline

The Ukrainian Armed Forces’ General Staff reported this on May 1.

Frontline situation 

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the situation hasn't changed significantly, and no enemy offensive groups have been detected. 

At the same time, the Russian army continued shelling the entire borderline with mortars and artillery: over 30 settlements across the Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions were attacked.

• In the Lyman sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled nine attacks carried out by the enemy in the areas of Hrekivka, Nevske and Serebryanske forestry in Luhansk region; Terny in Donetsk region. Artillery and mortar shelling damaged more than 10 localities, including Makiivka and Nevske in the Luhansk region; Terny and Yampolivka in the Donetsk region.
• In the Bakhmut sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 14 attacks in the areas of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region; Verkhnekamianske, Spirne, Novyi, Donetsk region, where Russian enemy was trying to improve its tactical position. Russia conducted an air strike near Diliyivka, Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire.
• In the Avdiivka sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 33 attacks in the areas of Kalynove, Arkhangelske, Progress, Ocheretyne, Sokol, Solovyovo, Novopokrovske, Semenivka, Umanske, Yasnobrodivka, Netaylovo, Pervomayske in Donetsk region, where Russian enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to force Ukrainian troops out of their positions. The enemy also launched an air strike near the village of Zhelanne in Donetsk region. About 20 localities came under artillery and mortar fire.
• In the Novopavlivka sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to hold back Russian enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka, Vodiane and Urozhayne in Donetsk region, where the enemy, supported by aviation, tried to break through the defenses of Ukrainian troops 17 times. The enemy also conducted an air strike near Kostyantynivka, Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire.
• In the Orikhiv sector, Russia, with the support of aviation, attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders twice near Staromayorske, Donetsk region, and Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region.  Russia also carried out air strikes near the settlements of Staromayorske in the Donetsk region and Lobkove in the Zaporizhzhia region. About 15 localities came under artillery and mortar fire.
• In the Kherson sector, Russian enemy does not abandon its intention to push Ukrainian units from their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Thus, during the day, Russia carried out 5 unsuccessful attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops near the village of Krynky, Kherson region. Russian aggressor carried out air strikes near the settlements of Olhivka, Tyahynka, Veletynske in the Kherson region. About 20 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire.

Ukrainian strikes against Russian military positions 

Over the course of the day, Ukrainian aviation struck at 7 manpower concentration areas.

Missile troops struck a UAV control centre and an area where enemy personnel were concentrated.
