Ukrainian Air Force downs seventh Su-34 fighter jet in week-long spree
The Ukrainian military has destroyed another Russian Su-34 fighter jet. This is the 7th Russian aircraft that the Air Force has downed this week

The commander of the Air Force, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk, reported the information.
"Minus one, we continue to work! This time I can say that the Su-35 pilot was lucky - he maneuvered and no longer takes risks. As for the Su-34 crew, they join our 'Eternal Flight, Brothers' section. I have good results of objective control so that no one doubts!" wrote the commander.
This is the 7th Russian fighter jet that Ukrainian troops have destroyed in a week.
- On the morning of Saturday, February 17, the Ukrainian Air Force destroyed three Russian aircraft at once - two Su-34 fighter-bombers and a Su-35 fighter jet.
- The next day, on Sunday, February 18, the Air Force reported another downing of a Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber. In addition, during Russia’s nighttime attack, Ukrainian air defense forces eliminated 12 Shaheds and a missile.
- Later, Ukrainian fighters shot down two more Russian aircraft.
