Ukrainian Air Force downs seventh Su-34 fighter jet in week-long spree

The commander of the Air Force, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk, reported the information.

"Minus one, we continue to work! This time I can say that the Su-35 pilot was lucky - he maneuvered and no longer takes risks. As for the Su-34 crew, they join our 'Eternal Flight, Brothers' section. I have good results of objective control so that no one doubts!" wrote the commander.

This is the 7th Russian fighter jet that Ukrainian troops have destroyed in a week.

• On the morning of Saturday, February 17, the Ukrainian Air Force destroyed three Russian aircraft at once - two Su-34 fighter-bombers and a Su-35 fighter jet.
• The next day, on Sunday, February 18, the Air Force reported another downing of a Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber. In addition, during Russia’s nighttime attack, Ukrainian air defense forces eliminated 12 Shaheds and a missile.
• Later, Ukrainian fighters shot down two more Russian aircraft.
