Defense Express military expert Ivan Kyrychevskyi has commented on the point in Volodymyr Zelenskyy's Victory Plan about moving the war to Russia

He said this on Espreso TV.

"Even reading between the lines in this paragraph about the transfer of combat operations to the territory of the Russian Federation, I saw that perhaps our Western partners are somehow expressing their desire not to expand the combat zone. Because it turns out that to expand the area of combat operations not only at the front, but also on the territory of the Russian Federation, we just need more weapons, as many as possible. And to perform tasks purely along the perimeter of 1,400 kilometers, there may not be enough weapons - heavy and light: artillery, tanks, armored vehicles, ammunition, the same. Because, by and large, it turns out that we had a problem with shells when we had a 1,300-kilometer active zone. And we need to allocate some more ammunition to, say, the Odesa direction and the northern direction. And now, it turns out, we have added the Kharkiv region - at least 100 kilometers plus, and the Kursk region, where the front is at least 50 kilometers wide. So, where, excuse me, do we get all the weapons for this," he said.

Ivan Kyrychevskyi explained why the Victory Plan is difficult to implement.

"And why, in fact, one might get the impression that in its overall structure this document (Victory Plan - ed.) is difficult to implement. Because in order to move the fighting to the territory of the Russian Federation, we need more weapons. Let's say, the weapons that the West itself lacks, and the weapons that would help us a lot right now to deter the Russians in the east - from Vuhledar, in the Kurakhove area, and, in fact, to somehow thwart the prospect of a Russian offensive on Pokrovsk. So this is a very problematic story. On the one hand, everything is very correct, it is reasonable, the war should be transferred to the territory of the Russian Federation by all available methods, Zaluzhnyi and Zabrodskyi wrote about this in 2022 quite clearly, but the problem is: how to transfer it, where to get this iron," the expert believes.
