Ukrainian forces target Morozovsk airfield in Russia's Rostov region

Deep State analysts have published the first photos of the aftermath of the airfield's damage.
The images show the complete destruction of one of the airfield's aviation weapons depots.
"It should be noted that the Russians have removed all the aircraft from the parking lot near the warehouses, so the extent of their damage is unknown," the statement says.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported that the Defense Forces struck at the Morozovsk airfield, namely at ammunition depots where guided bombs were stored, among other things.
"Information on the destruction of enemy air defense systems and aircraft is being clarified. The task was carried out by the forces and means of the Ukrainian Security Service and the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine in cooperation with the Ukrainian Armed Forces," the statement says.
The Defense Forces also attacked a number of Russian oil depots and fuel and lubricant storage facilities in the Belgorod, Kursk and Rostov regions. As a result, at least two oil tanks caught fire.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported that Russian air defense could have destroyed 75 drones, including 36 over the Rostov region, eight over the Kursk region, nine over the Belgorod region, 17 over the Oryol region, two over the Ryazan region, and one UAV each over the Voronezh region, the Sea of Azov, and Krasnodar Krai.
Instead, Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor of the Belgorod region, said that the drones allegedly attacked an oil depot.
The explosion caused one of the tanks to catch fire. No people were injured.
The governor of the Rostov region, Vasily Golubev, also reported the drone attack.
"A number of storage facilities in Kamenskoye and Morozovskoye districts were damaged as a result of a massive UAV attack. Emergency services are extinguishing the fires. Information about the victims is being clarified," he wrote.
At the same time, the Astra telegram channel, citing local sources, reports that the Morozovsk military airfield was damaged. It is noted that, judging by the detonation, either an ammunition depot or fuel tanks are likely to be on fire.
Later, Astra reported that fuel tanks were on fire in the Kamensky district of Rostov region of Russia.
In the morning, according to RIA Novosti, the head of the administration of the Russian Kamensky district said that fuel tanks had caught fire in the Rostov region after a UAV attack. However, no people were injured.
